Aiea and Pearl City community volunteers representing the Pearl City District 3 Community Policing Team's CTAP – Community Traffic Awareness Program and the Newtown Neighborhood Security Watch Program, joined forces to slow down traffic and bring traffic safety awareness to motorists on Kaahele Street in Aiea on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
CTAP volunteers along with HPD signwaved from 4:00pm – 5:00pm near the entrance to the Netown Recreation Center. Motorists were reminded to check their speed and watch out for pedestrians as they make their way through our Aiea and Pearl City neighborhoods.
