The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association continued their annual gift of giving in support of our Pearl City Complex Elementary Schools with donations of 10 – $100.00 Pearl City Shopping Center gift certificates presented to Palisades Elementary on Thursday, December 1 and to Lehua Elementary on Tuesday, December 6.
The PCSC gift certificate presentations of $1000 were made in front of both the Palisades Elementary and Lehua Elementary full study body during early morning assemblies. Sheri Rolf and me represented the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association Board at both schools.
The PCSC Merchants Association awards two Pearl City elementary schools, on an annual basis, with a donation of 10 – $100.00 PCSC gift certificates that rotates each year amongst the eight Pearl City District Complex elementary schools.
Mr. Duane Kurisu, owner of the Pearl City Shopping Center, is grateful for the opportunity to provide financial assistance to help offset expenses with the much needed, and appreciated funds that go directly to support each school's programs and extra-curricular activities. The success and support of the Pearl City Shopping merchants by the Pearl City community makes it possible to give back to our students in the Pearl City District Complex.
I feel very fortunate to represent the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association who provides me and fellow board member Sheri Rolf with the opportunity to represent the generosity and financial assistance of Pearl City Shopping Center owner Mr. Duane Kurisu that truly supports our Pearl City elementary schools and its students. I also have the opportunity to see, first hand, how the schools make each $1000.00 donation go a long way in benefiting their students. Great job!
