Pearl City's speed and power was too much for Waialua to keep up with as the Chargers defeated the Bulldogs 12-1 in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division 1 Boys Varsity Soccer played on Thursday, December 29 at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex in Waipahu.
Devan Yoshimura and Samuel Rhyen Smith led the Chargers attack with three goals each.
Pearl City improved to 5-1 in league play while Waialua fell to 1-5-1. The Chargers sit in third place in the OIA D1 West behind league leading Mililani (6-0-1) and second place Kapolei (5-0-1).
