VOTE FOR DAPHNE! “LifeChanger of the Year Award”

Pearl City High School math teacher, sports coach, tutor, and graduation coordinator Ms. Daphne Okunaga has been nominated by PCHS principal Mr. Joseph Halfmann to receive the prestigious National Life Group "LifeChanger of the Year Award". The national grand prize winner will receive a $5000 personal cash award and $5000 donation to PCHS.

Daphne really needs your comments to help her win. She is extremely dedicated to her school and to all the students and student athletes that she teaches, tutors, and coaches. Her classroom is a haven for all. Daphne is truly loved and appreciated and very generous with her time and attainable resources.

"I really want the award money to do some projects in my class and vamp up support of how we help our student athletes get NCCA cleared," said Daphne. Helping and guiding her student athletes in the classroom and on the playing field to acheive reaching their higher education goals is her passion and is very successful at making that happen.

Everybody loves Daphne! She has a huge heart that she shares 24/7!
