Pearl City earns state tourney berth after defeating Castle 5-0

Pearl City earned a berth in the upcoming 2017 HHSAA State Division I Boys Soccer Championships after defeating Castle 5-0 in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I consolation semifinals on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Kailua High School.

Daniel Woo led the Chargers in scoring with three goals.

Pearl City (10-2-1)will take on Campbell (9-4-0) in the OIA DI championship consolation final for 5th place in the tournament on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Kailua High School. Campbell defeated Kahuku 2-0 to advance to the consolation 5th place match-up with Pearl City.
