Punahou stopped defending state champion Pearl City 3-0 in the 2017 HHSAA State Division I Girls Soccer championship semifinals on Friday, February 3, at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex in Waipahu. True Dydasco (19:35), Jamie-Lyn Shimamoto (28:20), and Lauren Mukaigawa (78:13) led Punahou with three goals apiece.
ILH Champion and #2 seed Punahou (12-1-1) is scheduled to play ILH runner-up Iolani (12-0-3) in the championship finals on Saturday, February 4. Iolani defeated OIA Champion and #1 seed Mililani on Friday, February 3 to advance to the championship finals.
PearlCity (11-4-1) is scheduled to play Mililani (12-1-2) today at 3:00pm for 3rd place.
