Congratulations to Makoa Cooper and Kasey Kikuyama who won individual championship crowns at the Oahu Interscholastic Association Wrestling Championships held at Leilehua High School on Saturday, February 11.

Cooper defeated Kaiser's Nicholas Mair 16-5 to become a 2X champion at 154 lbs. Kikuyama defeated Leilehua's Keanu Punley 7-3 to win the 172 lbs. title. Both Cooper and Kikuyama will lead their Charger teammates at this weekend's 2017 HHSAA State Wrestling Championships scheduled for February 17-18 at Blaisdell Arena.
