Just wanted to let you know that the Fit Factory was able to participate in the 2017 Keiki Great Aloha Run and Great Aloha Run again this year.
We had 15 kids run at the Keiki GAR on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. at the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, and it took us about 19 minutes to finish the 1.5 mile run. The Keiki GAR helps our school since $15 from each entry comes back to our school to help support our school's health and wellness programs.
Early Monday morning, 12 students participated in the 2017 GAR and was able to complete the 8.2 mile run in 2 hours 6 minutes. The students and chaperones met at the Aloha Stadium at 4:45 a.m. to get ready for the GAR.
This is the 8th year that the Momilani Fit Factory has been able to participate in the Great Aloha Run weekend events.
