Mar 6, 2017 | PC Sports

I would like to congratulate Zion Tupuola-Fetui and Jasen Pong who are the latest Pearl City Chargers football players who have received interest and recognition in fulfilling their dreams of playing collegiate football.

Zion, who has received offers from Hawaii, Washington and possibly interest from several other Pac 12 schools which includes Oregon State and Stanford. Zion (6-4, 250) is currently a junior at PCHS and is being recruited to play either Defensive End or Linebacker.

Jasen has accepted an offer to play at Cisco College in Cisco Texas next fall. Jasen (6-1 255) completed his senior season with the Chargers on the O-Line as a Center/Guard.

Stay tuned for more announcements of Chargers who will also be continuing their football/academic goals at the collegiate level.

Congratulations to Charger Head Coach Robin Kami for his guidance and philosophy in preparing his student/athletes for achieving their academic and athletic goals that successfully secures their path to higher education.

Coach Kami has also incorporated the expertise and dedication of PCHS Teacher/Coach Daphne Okunaga who has implemented an after school study hall program that benefits all Charger football players.

CONGRATULATIONS CHARGERS!
