Waianae sweeps Pearl City 25-18, 26-24 in OIA West Boys Volleyball

Waianae defeated Pearl City in straight sets 25-18, 26-24 in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division I Boys Varsity Volleyball on Thursday, March 9 at Pearl City High School.

Jayden Tanabe-Yeager and Blaze Kahikina led Waianae with 4 kills each. Kahikina scored a match high 5 aces for the Seariders.

Pearl City's Zion Tupuola-Fetui scored a match high 9 kills for the Chargers. Jeremiah Taamu finished with 5 kills.

Waianae improved to 2-0 in league play while Pearl City remains winless at 0-2.

The Chargers return to action at Leilehua on Tuesday, March 14. JV tips off at 5:30pm with the varsity to follow.
