Pearl City Community Association awards $5000.00 in scholarships to 10 PCHS seniors

The Pearl City Community Association (PCCA) recognized 10 exceptional seniors from Pearl City High School's Class of 2017 as PCCA $500.00 scholarship award recipients during Friday's PCHS Ohana Night held at the Pearl City Cultural Center.

PCCA President, Jits Fujimura and PCCA Vice President, Patti Rabacal represented the community organization during the presentation of the scholarship recognition certificates. Each scholarship recipient will receive their scholarship check award during the PCCA's annual scholarship dinner to be held and celebrated on Tuesday, May 16, 6:00pm at the Pearl City Cultural Center meeting room.

Maya Mendez, Zoe Sano, Riley Yoshihara, Alex Yamada, Erica Mae Bonilla, Kariza Nolasco, Christine Nishi, Darcy Tokunaga, Zachary Lim, Candace Noguchi

The PCCA Scholarship fund in the amount of $5000.00 is made available annually to Pearl City High School graduating seniors from the PCCA’s community oriented fundraising efforts and events throughout the year,  as well as from PCCA membership dues and generous monetary donations in support of our Pearl City community and Pearl City District Complex Schools.

*In 2017, the PCHS Class of 2017 has received over $2,550,000 in scholarships and grants. Congratulations!
