Pearl City Elementary presents “Tour of the World” PTO fundraiser

Pearl City Elementary School held their Tour of the World, PTO fundraiser event on Thursday, May 18 on the school campus grounds. The event featured Hawaii, along with eleven countries from around the world. Students learned about the following countries and displayed their work samples, projects, assignments, etc. from their research:

Jamaica, Korea, Spain, USA, New Zealand, Netherlands, Japan, China, Italy, Greece, and Egypt

Tour of the World visitors supported the school fundraiser by purchasing an unlimited access, $5.00 Passport that allowed them to enjoy the students displays, featured crafts, sampling of delicious fruits, and a world store inside the school library. The students and staff worked really hard on their very impressive projects and interactive displays.

Mahalo to Pearl City Elementary Principal Dr. Susan Hirokane for the invitation to attend and capture all the special moments. Also, mahalo for all the goodies!

Congratulations on a very successful fundraiser!
