Aloha,

I Just wanted to share an awesome, busy, and tiresome weekend at Spotlight 2017 for Aloha Hula and Illumatrx.

On Friday night, self taught singer, Arahmae Domingo won 2nd place/Ruby and 9th place 12 and under division for the solo vocalis competition.  She sang Titanium.

On Saturday, Kamalanimalie Manner won 1st place/Diamond and Judge's Choice award for solo dancer dancing to Lei Hali'a, choreographed by our Mom with help of Kumu Hula Minierva Pang.

Kamalanimalie and Chrysta-Lynn won 2nd place/ruby doing a duo Hip Hop dance to Atti2de which was choreographed by a good friend of our 'ohana, Jordan Dobison.

Aloha Hula won 2 rubies for small group.  The first song they danced to was Green Rose Hula using the ipus. ( This song is special because my sister, Chistina, was taught and used to dance this song with Kumu Hula Minerva Pang.)   The second hula they danced to which was choreographed by Christina, was Ka'a Ahi Kahului, to honor Palani Vaughn.

And last but not least, Aloha Hula won a Studio Director Award thanks to Christna for taking over Aloha Hula and helping the hula dancers prepare for this years Spotlight competition since our mom had to step down because of her legs.

Thank you,

Kekoa

Congratulations to award winning

Aloha Hula and Illumatrx!
