The Rotary Club of Pearlridge (RCOP) presented third grader Daniel Longboy of St. Elizabeth School in Aiea with a Good Citizen Award on Tuesday, June 6  during the end of school year awards assembly held in St. Elizabeth Church. Tuesday's Good Citizen Award presentation was the final of 12 presentations made to Pearl City and Aiea elementary schools.

RCOP community volunteers delivered free dictionaries to third graders and their teachers representing 12 Pearl City and Aiea elementary schools in the beginning of the school year. The dictionary donations were a part of Rotary International's Dictionary 5000 Project. One student from each school was chosen by their teachers to receive a Good Citizen Award which included a $50.00 check. The award winning student's best exemplified the principles of the Four Way Test.

"Four Way Test"

1.  Is it the truth;
2.  Is it fair to all concerned,
3.  Will it bring good will and better friendships,
4.  Will it be beneficial to all concerned.
