Today was another one of those days filled with pride and appreciation for the opportunity to be a part of Rotary International Hawaii District 5000 as a Board Member of the Rotary Club of Pearlridge (RCOP).
Rotary Club of Pearlridge joined together with Rotary Club's representing Mililani Sunrise and Wahiawa-Waialua to install new presidents, officers, and board members from each club during an Installation Ceremony Luncheon held today at Dot's Restaurant in Wahiawa.
I am excited to announce the installation of our new RCOP President for 2017-2018 Lasar Hurd-McCabe. I would also like to extend my Aloha to outgoing RCOP President Andrew Muccio for his exceptional leadership, dedication, and service to our club and community during his 2016-2017 tenure.
Mililani Sunrise President June Kasaoka and Wahiawa-Waialua President Lilette Subedi were also proudly installed today. Pearl Harbor President-Elect Bruce Fink was also in attendance and will be installed by his club at another date.
Today's Installation Ceremony Luncheon was blessed and honored to have in attendance Rotary International Hawaii District 5000 District Governor Elect Nalani Flinn who energized the membership with words of encouragement to the newly installed presidents and their boards.
DG Elect Flinn will follow 2016-2017 District Governor Clint Schroeder during the Rotary International Hawaii District 5000 Change of Command Leadership Breakfast on July 1, 2017 from 8:30am-10:30am at Harbor Restaurant, Pier 38.
