Pearl City defeated Hilo 14-1, advances at the 2017 Hawaii Little League 50/70 State Championship Tourney

Pearl City defeated Hilo 14-1 at the Hawaii Little League Intermediate 50/70 State Championship Tournament played on Saturday at Ala Wai Field. The game was called after 4 1/2 inniings due to the 10-run rule.

Dylan Soto earned the win for Pearl City.

Pearl City moves on in the championship tournament and will face Honolulu on Sunday with first pitch scheduled for 12:00pm at Ala wai Field. The winner will play again at 3:00pm for a chance to avance to Monday's state championship title game.

Mark Moreno scores from third base in the bottom of the second

inning on a pass ball at the plate to put Pearl City up 6-0 over Hilo.

Pearl City took a quick 7-0 lead scoring four runs in the bottom of the

first inning and three runs in the bottom of the second inning.
