The Pearl City Thunder (Pacific Southwest) earned their way to today's 2017 Babe Ruth 14U World Series Championship game after defeating Mid Atlantic yesterday 4-1 in the championship semifinals at Glen Allen Stadium in Virginia. The Thunder will take on West Linn, OR (Pacific Northwest) who defeated Virginia 4-3 in the yesterday's doubleheader semifinals.
Kelena Sauer pitched six innings to earn the win for the Thunder. Jayton Pang closed out the game on the mound for the Thunder.
Today's championship is scheduled for 8:00am HST.
