LADY CHARGERS RULE! NEXT STOP, D2 CHAMPIONSHIP VS. NANAKULI!

Oct 17, 2017 | PC Sports

The Lady Chargers are truly amazing! The girls earned their way to Wednesday night's OIA White Division 2 Championship title match against the Nanakuli Lady Golden Hawks after an impressive 3-1 (19-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-22) semifinal win over the Kailua Lady Surfiders last night at Kailua High School.

The Lady Chargers and Lady Surfriders put up a fight for the chance to advance to the championship, but the Lady Chargers dug down deep and left it all the court for the win.

The Lady Chargers once again played as one as junior setter Tyra Yamaguchi spread the wealth to the Lady Charger big guns as well as her exceptional accuracy and success at the service line.

It's going to be a huge opportunity for the Lady Chargers to bring home a championship on Wednesday as they ride their momentum against a tough Lady Golden Hawks team that defeated the Lady Chargers 2-0 during the regular season.

The Lady Golden Hawks defeated McKinley 3-0 last a night in the first match of the semifinal double header played at Kailua High School.

The Pearl City vs, Nanakuli championship is set for 5:30pm on Wednesday at McKinley High School. The OIA D1 Championship title match between Moanalua vs. Kapolei will follow the D2 championship. Both championship matches will be televised on OC16.
