Kapolei overpowered Pearl City 53-15 last night in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division Girls Basketball played at Pearl City High School.
Kapolei's Alexis Correa scored a game high 17 points with one 3PM. Ashlyn Velasco pumped in 12 points with two 3PM for the Lady Hurricanes.
Pearl City's Jasmine Calderon scored 5 points including one 3PM to lead the Lady Chargers.. Vivian Barnes dropped in 4 points for the Lady Chargers.
Kapolei improved to 3-4 in league play while Pearl City fell to 1-7.
The Lady Chargers will host the Waipahu Lady Marauders on Thursday, January 4, 2018.
