Proclamation honors Pearl City Shopping Center, other organizations, as 4th Happiest City in America

Mahalo to the City and County of Honolulu for presenting the Pearl City Shopping Center along with other community groups, with a proclamation on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, that honored the Pearl City community for being ranked the "4th Happiest City in America” by WalletHub.com from Washington, D.C.

Manuel Valbuena, representing the Mayor's office, presented the following community groups and their president's with the proclamation recognition during the Pearl City Neighborhood Board meeting held at Waiau District Park in Pearl City, The proclamation also named March 20, 2018 as PEARL CITY, FOURTH HAPPIEST CITY IN THE U.S., DAY which was in conjunction with the International Happiness Day observance.

Pearl City community groups recognized for their service to our community:

Pearl City Shopping Center, Pearl City Community Association, Pearl City Foundation, Pearl City Lions Club, Manana Community Association, and Pearl City Neighborhood Board.

There also so many other community groups, community volunteers, businesses, etc., who are well deserving of recognition for their tireless efforts while serving and bettering the lives of our residents and visitors to our community. MAHALO!

I also had the honor of representing an amazing group of Pearl City Community Association officers, board of directors, and membership as the 2018 PCCA President during the city proclamation presentation.
