Chargers send-off senior class with 2-0 sweep over Campbell

The Pearl City Chargers sent off their senior class in style with a 2-0 (25-18, 25-18) sweep over the visiting Campbell Sabers on Monday in Oahu Interscholastic Association WEstern Division varsity volleyball played at Pearl City High School.. The Chargers finished the regular season at 4-6. Campbell finished at 3-7.

Pearl City senior Zion Tupuola-Fetui led all scorers with 13 kills. Senior Jeremiah Perifanos-Taamu scored 8 kills which included winning kills in game one and game two.

Micah Anguay (4 kills) and Kalama Thomas (4 kills, ace) led the Sabers in scoring.

Mahalo to the amazing Chargers senior class! You guys will be truly missed. Your spirit and Charger legacies that you have built will live forever!

Jeremiah Perifanos-Taamu nails the game and match winning kill in

game two to complete the 25-18, 25-18 sweep over the Sabers.

The Chargers also won game one with the senior combination of Schlitzkus

at the service line and Perifanos-Taamu scoring the game winning kill.

Perifanos-Taamu scored 8 kills in the match.
