Pearl City Elementary ranked #3 in state by Honolulu Magazine

Congratulations to Pearl City Elementary School who celebrated during a school assembly on Thursday, April 12, the announcement of being ranked #3 in the state for public elementary schools by Honolulu Magazine in their April 2018 edition for improvement in overall Math and Reading scores.

Zachary Sheets (CAO), representing the DOE Pearl City/Waipahu District Complex Superintendents office, made the special recognition presentation to a very proud and enthusiastic PCEL ohana on Thursday.

PCEL also honored their military dependent students who represent a good percentage of overall enrollments at the school. Recognition was presented as a part of Purple Up! "Month of the Military Child" which supports military youth for their strength and sacrifices.

Mahalo to Honolulu Magazine for their support of our public schools with the annual statewide test score rankings and academic achievement.
