Finance 101: Financial Literacy for Beginners, is a four part class to be held at Pearl City Public Library on Tuesdays in May beginning at 6:00 p.m. These classes are presented by Norie Galang of WFG/WSB Hawaii. Pearl City Reads book club will meet on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. This month's book is the award winning Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman.
The story follows Caden Bosch, a teen living a double life. In one life, Caden is a student, pretending to join the school track team so he can wander the town. In another life, Caden is the artist in residence of an expeditionary ship sailing to Challenger Deep, the deepest part of the Earth in the Marianas Trench.
