I would like to send a BIG MAHALO to Kupuna Antoinette Lee, chairperson of the Aloha Festivals Parade, for inviting Aloha Hula for the 2nd year in a row, to be part of the parade yesterday. It was really hot but it was really awesome. Kupuna Lee once again did a wonderful job organizing this beautiful floral parade. This years theme was No Ke Kai Kakou E. . We Are Of The Sea. .The talented Aloha Hula Moms, 'Ohana, and Friends had to think of ways to decorate the with fishes made out of flowers. . .and of course the main floral arrangement for the front of the truck.
This year Aloha Hula was joined by the Palisades Elementary Student Council and their adviser, Mrs. Kathy Ho. They all marched the parade along with Palisades PTO president, Erika and her children, Palisades PCNC, Shannon and her two sons, and other Palisades 'ohana and children. One of Aloha Hula's dad, Joselito, allowed us to use and decorate his truck he drove in the parade.
I would like to thank Palisades Elementary Principal, Mr. Gavin Tsue for allowing my mom's Aloha Hula 'Ohana and the Palisades Elementary Student Council to take part of this special event. I would also like to thank the following people who helped my mom prepare and be a part of this years Aloha Festivals Parade 2018. I apologize in advance if I missed anyone. . .
