Japan’s famous value store now hiring sales associates for Pearl City Shopping Center location

HouseMart, parent company of Ben Franklin Crafts and Ace Hardware, announced the opening of Hawaii’s first Daiso store in mid-December at Pearl City Shopping Center. With over 3,200 stores in Japan and over 70 stores throughout the U.S., Daiso is best known for its wide selection of unique and quality household products at affordable prices.

In preparation for the new store opening, HouseMart is actively looking to hire sales associates to support its 5.000 square-foot retail space at Pearl City Shopping Center, currently anchored by Ben Franklin Crafts, Foodland Super Market, and Longs Drugs.

“Hawaii has close ties with Japan and many of our residents have a familiarity and preference for Japanese products. We are thrilled to introduce Daiso to local residents as we prepare to open our first Hawaii location,” said Milton Fujii, director of imports for HouseMart. “We look forward to building our core team of friendly and energetic employees who will provide outstanding shopping experiences for our customers.”
