Pearl City Christmas Parade powers in the Spirit of the Holidays!

The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Assoxciation held their annual Pearl Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 2. The parade began at 4:00pm from Hookiekie Street fronting Momilani Elementary School and made its way along Hoolehua Street to the Pearl City Shopping Center where an awards ceremony was held in the shoppong center parking lot near Bank of Hawaii.

Prizes were awarded in the following categories: Best Vehicle, Marching, and Spirit. First place in each category received a $100.00 Pearl City Shopping Center Gift Certificate.  1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers  received trophies.

Mahalo to Sheri and Dave Rolf representing both Rolf Adverting and the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association for their hard work organizing the parade public relations, marketing and advertising, and as emcee as parade participants entered the Pearl City Shopping Center at the end of the parade route.

Mahalo to awards ceremony emcee Irwin Santos for another outstanding job on the microphone introducing and announcing the winners.

Mahalo also goes out to Patti Rabacal and the Pearl City High School Project Grad/PTSA crew who organized the parade participants and also led them along the parade route.

The Pearl city Shopping Center Merchants Association would like to thank all participants, organizers, supporters, and our Pearl City community, as well as visitors to our community for being a part of another fun, and successful Pearl City Christmas Parade.
