Pearl City defeats Kapolei 3-1 in OIA D1 Girls Soccer Championship Quarterfinals

The W2 Pearl City Lady Chargers defeated the W6 Kapolei Lady Hurricanes 3-1 in the 2019 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Girls Soccer Championship Quarterfinals played on Tuesday at Moanalua High School.

Goals:
Pearl City – Jasmine Herodies 1, Sunshine Fontes 2
Kapolei – Heather Kolona

The Lady Chargers move on to the semifinals to face OIA East Division Champion Moanalua on Thursday, 7:00pm at Kaiser High School. Moanalua defeated E5 Kailua 2-1 in Tuesday night's quarterfinal nightcap at Moanalua High School.

In a quarterfinal doubleheader played at Mililani High School on Tuesday, OIA Western Division Champion Mililani got past W5 Campbell 2-1 in OT. W3 Aiea beat E2 Kaiser 2-1. Mililani will play Aiea on Thursday, 5:30pm at Kaiser High School.

Thursday’s semifinal winners will advance to the championship title game on Saturday, January 19, 6:30pm at Kaiser High School.
