Aiea crowned 2019 OIA DI Girls Soccer Champions!

Aiea's Nicole Olanda kicked in the winning goal at the 9th minute of the first half to beat the Pearl City Lady Chargers 1-0 and take home the 2019 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Girls Soccer Championship Crown on Saturday at Kaiser High School. Olanda also scored the winning goal in Thursday’s 1-0 semifinal win over defending OIA Champion Mililani that propelled the Lady Na Ali'i to the championship match with the Lady Chargers.

Pearl City played without their all-state player Sunshine Fontes who was injured in the Lady Chargers 3-2 semifinal win over Moanalua on Thursday. Last night’s championship win was the second 1-0 victory for the Lady Na Ali’i over the Lady Chargers during the regular and post season.

The Aiea Na Ali'i (12-2-0) and Pearl City (10-2-1) will join Mililani, Moanalua, Campbell and Kapolei in the HHSAA State Division I Girls Soccer Championship Tournament scheduled for Monday, Thursday–Saturday, January 28, 31–February 2, 2019 at sites TBD and at the Waipio Soccer Complex in Waipahu.

Congratulations to the Kalaheo Lady Mustangs who defeated the Waianae Lady Seariders 2-1 to win the 2019 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II Girls Soccer Championship last night at Kaiser High School.
