Kaiser advances to OIA championship semifinals with 3-2 win over Pearl City

The Kaiser Cougars earned their way into the semifinal round of the 2019 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Soccer Championship Playoffs after slipping past the Pearl City Chargers 3-2 last night in the quarterfinals played at Kaiser High School. Kaiser moves on to take on Kapolei n Thursday’s semifinals at Kaiser High School. Kapolei shut-out Roosevelt 5-0 last night in the quarterfinals played at Kaiser High School. At Mililani High School last night, Mililani blanked Kailua 3-0 and Kalani shut-out Campbell 5-0 to advance to Thursday’s doubleheader semifinals scheduled for Kaiser High School.

The Chargers will battle Roosevelt tonight at Castle high School with kick-off scheduled for 7:00pm. Kailua will take on Campbell at 5:30pm. Winners advance to Saturday’s final for 5th place in the tournament at Kaiser High School.
