Newtown Neighborhood Security Watch Community Traffic Awareness Program holds signwaving event on Kaahele Street

The Newtown Neighborhood Security Watch Community Traffic Awareness Program (CTAP)  held a signwaving event  to bring traffic safety awareness and to slow down traffic on Kaahele Street in Aiea on Monday, February 25 fronting the Newtown Recreation Center entrance.

HPD Officers from District 3 Pearl City Community Policing Team joined community volunteers in the hour long signwaving event that ran from 4pm-5pm.

Mahalo to all the CTAP volunteers who made the day a huge success! Also, mahalo to Kaahele Street motorists and pedestrians for their support and Aloha during the event.
