Mililani (4-3) pounded out 11 hits to beat Pearl City (2-5) 9-5 yesterday in OIA Western Division Softball played at Mililani High School.
Serenity Jackson earned the win for Lady Trojans pitching 6.3 innings while allowing 5 runs on 3 hits with 2 strikeouts and 3 walks. Nicole Arios pitched 2/3 innings allowing no runs and no hits to close it out for the Lady Trojans.
Maiyah Falefine-Lesu took the loss for the Lady Chargers pitching 3 complete innings while allowing 6 runs on 7 hits. Jo-Zayah Iriarte pitched 3 innings in relief of Falefine-Lesu allowing 3 runs on 3 hits.
Katie Carlos led the Lady Trojans at the plate hitting 3-4 with double and a RBI. Tierra Dumlao went 2-3 with a double, 2 RBI and a run scored.
Taryn Fujioka hit 2-3 with 2 RBI and a run scored to lead the Lady Chargers at the plate. Jo-Zayah Iriarte went 1-3 with a run scored.
Mililani will travel to Leilehua to take on the Lady Mules on Thursday, March 28 with first pitch scheduled for 3:00pm.
Pearl City gets back to action in league play on Tuesday, April 2 at Aiea with first pitch scheduled for 3:00pm.
