Our Pearl City AYSO U12 Silver team won their division championship (1-0) in this weekend’s AYSO Kirk Banks Soccer Tournament played at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex. These boys are coached by Geoff Maeda, Liane Miura and Ryan Peralta.
They beat our other Pearl City Silver team coached by Steven Daguay in the championship match.
Both teams went 4-0 in their respective pools to advance to the title match.
The Pearl City team coached by Maeda won with a golden goal by Ensen Kam off a great cross from Gunwon “Jack” Kim with 30 seconds left to go in the match.
Needless to say it was a great weekend for Pearl City AYSO!
