Apr 16, 2019 | PC Community

Aloha!

As a member of the Board of Deacons of Pearl City Community Church (PCC) 933 Lehua Ave., Pearl City, we invite you to join us at our National Day of Prayer Service on Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. with light refreshments prior to the service.

The theme for this year is "Love One Another" John 13:34.

The National Day of Prayer was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.  In 1988, the law was unanimously amended by both the House and the Senate and signed into law by President Ronald Reagan on Thursday, May 5, 1988, designating the first Thursday of May as a day of national prayer.  Every president since 1952 has signed a National Day of Prayer proclamation."  Dr. Ronnie Floyd, President of the National Day of Prayer.

Again, please join us as we pray for the seven centers of influence, government, military, media art, business, education, church and family.

We ask that you forward this invitation as Spirit leads for what better time than now to come together and pray.

Have a blessed Holy Week and Happy Easter!

Blessings.
