There are times in life when things just pile up and there is never really enough time to do it all. Both my Mom and I have been busy this summer and we were a bit worried about rounding up backpacks for my annual Stuffed With Aloha Backpack Project.

In the past years, we have had a decrease in donations but the number of children in need increased. So what else is there left to do? We prayed. . .. This year we have been blessed by the recycles Tommy had donated to us which was enough to get 45 backpacks and stuff them with school supplies for the children of Maililand.
The children were so grateful receiving their backpacks stuffed with school supplies. Their smiles on their faces when they get to choose which backpack they want is so priceless. Some of the children had a hard time choosing which backpack to get. My mom and I got to meet twins and triplets for the first time during our distribution. It was awesome.
We would like to thank Tommy for always supporting us. We would also like to thank the Mailiand staff for helping us be organized when we distributed the backpacks today..
We can‘t THANK your Ohana enough!!! Not only servicing our keiki, but the many other communities. May you ALL be BLESSED a hundred times over! Aloha and again BIG MAHALO for all you continue to do!

What a blessed day today. . .
Mahalo,
