I had a great time at last night's Pearl City Hongwanji Bon Dance. What an amazing event that brings together our community in celebration of the Japanese culture.
It was so nice to be among so many friends and their ohana that represented multi-generations who were all having fun being together, dance after dance (eating ono food and shave ice, too).
Mahalo to the Pearl City Hongwanji Mission and their support of our Pearl City community and our youth through their scholarship programs.
