On Thursday, Aug. 29, Hawaiian Electric crews will be doing a pole replacement and upgrading equipment in Pearl City. The work will require a contraflow lane on Hoomalu Street, between Hoowali and Waimano Home Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Parking will be restricted on the neighboring streets. Safety signs will alert drivers and traffic cones will mark the work zones. Special duty police also will be onsite to provide traffic control. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible.
