Lady Chargers Head Coach Dayne Teves:

“I’m pretty proud of these girls.. They worked hard from the summer work outs to this point. A little bit shaky from when we first started in the beginning of the season, but every day we just grew and we learned from our mistakes and I’m just proud of their efforts all the way to this point.""

Trust and Maturity

"Everybody got used to trusting each other. That’s a big key. Starting from our passing, ball control is everything that we try to instill with everybody. Everybody’s talking about our middles, but remember, we can’t set the middle if we don’t have that first pass to our setter, and we can’t deliver to the middle. That’s the biggest thing, they trusted each other more."

Coaching Ohana Thank you!

"I would like to thank my wife (Sheri). My wife is #1. She is my #1 key supporter ever since we started this. We both love the game. I also want to thank my brother Donovan. The three of us together, hats off to them. They’re there every day supporting what we decide we want to do. It’s all of us together. I also want to thank athletic director Reid Shigemasa in trusting in me to come back to the school. I’m an alumni and it’s just a good feeling to be back at Pearl City."
