Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers who defeated the Kaiser Cougars 22-12 Saturday night in the 2019 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division 2 Junior Varsity Football Championship semifinals played at Kaiser High School.
The Chargers (5-2) will play for the league championship title against the undefeated Roosevelt Rough Riders (8-0) who crushed Nanakuli 52-0 in a semifinal match-up Saturday night at Roosevelt High School.
The championship gme is scheduled for Friday, October 25 at Roosevelt High School's Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium with kick-off set for 7:00pm.
Roosevelt defeated Pearl City 35-19 on September 6 during the regular season at Roosevelt High School.
