The McKinley Lady Tigers eliminated the Pearl City Lady Chargers from the OIA Division II Girls Basketball Championship Tournament last night with with a 46-37 first round win at Pearl City High School.
McKinley's Haley Nguyen scored a game high 13 points with 3 – 3 pointers. Raychelle Tavai pumped in 11 points with 3 – 3 pointers for the Lady Tigers.
Pearl City's Tiari Hernandez led the Lady Chargers with 12 points. Erica Lee scored 10 points with 2 – 3 pointers for the Lady Chargers.
McKinley (4-8) will take on Farrington (4-6) tonight in the championship quarterfinals at Farrington High School. Tip off is set for 6:00pm.
