Momilani Elementary 6th graders star in “THE GRUNCH, A new children’s musical”

The Momilani Drama Club presented "THE GRUNCH, A new children’s musical" performed by the Momilani Elementary School 6th grade class on Wednesday, January 22 in the school cafeteria.

Inspired by “The Grunch Who Stole Christmas”, “The Grunch”  tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who always feels like an outsider. When the entire school gets excited about the annual school musical, he comes up with a perfect plan to ruin it for everyone; he’ll steal the sets, costumes and lights – the night before it opens. But will the spirit of theatre prevail?

The 6th graders performed their hearts out to the delight of the Momilani Elementary Ohana who filled the cafeteria and showered the star performers with their overwhelming applause and gratitude for their talents and spirited performances.

The 6th graders also performed for last time on Wednesday as cast members of the Momilani Drama Club representing the Momilani Elementary Class of 2020.

Great job!
