It was really nice to chat and congratulate newly crowned PFL Middleweight Champion Ray Cooper III today at the OIA Divisional Wrestling Championships held at Pearl City High School.
Ray helped out with the Pearl City Chargers wrestling teams during the championships.His presence and guidance was so inspirational for the wrestlers as they went in and out of battle with each round. Ray has a huge heart and continues to give back to his school and community with everyday.
He is the most humble champion that I have ever had the opportunity to be around, as well as cover in competition that began as a champion and all star athlete at Pearl City High School. Even today as a world champion and mentor, he gives back to the PCHS student athletes and the PCHS Charger Ohana with his humble demeanor and positive attitude that will serve as the inspiration for champions of the future in competition and in life.
