Pearl City Chagers opened the OIA Western Division Boys Varsity Volleyball regular season last night with a 3-1 ( 23-25, 25-16, 25-17, 26-24) win over the Waipahu Marauders at Pearl City High School.
Fati Seei-Tofi led the Chargers with 20 kills and 1 ace. Jacob Kamanao scored 17 kills with 1 ace.
Andrew Saole and Joel Auvae had 9 kills apiece for the Marauders.
The Chargers return to league action tomorrow night against Waialua at Pearl City High School.
