Hernandez, Hashimoto homer in Pearl City’s 9-3 win over Waianae

The Pearl City Lady Chargers improved to 1-1 in OIA Western Division I Softball regular season standings after defeating the visiting Waianae Lady Seariders 9-3 yesterday afternoon at Pearl City High School.

Jo-Zayah Iriarte earned the win for the Lady Chargers pitching 4 1/3 innings while allowing no runs, 2 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.

Alohilani Napalapalai took the loss for the Lady Seariders pitching 4 innings while allowing 8 runs on 8 hits with 6 walks and 3 strikeouts.

Tiari Hernandez and Drew Hashimoto both homered for the Lady Chargers.
