Uyema, Ohira shine bright in PCHS Class of 2020

May 6, 2020 | PC Sports

As we honor the Pearl City High School Class of 2020 by turning on the lights at Edwin Neves Stadium every Friday during the month of May at 8:20pm for 20 minutes to honor and recognize the amazing PCHS Class of 2020, I would also like to send my Aloha and gratitude to those senior student athletes who shined as Chargers under the lights on the stadium turf.

Today we honor and recognize multi decorated Division I all-star soccer players Caylie Uyema and Cody Ohira who represented and led their teams with exceptional talent and inspiration throughout their four years as Chargers in competition and in the classroom.

They will always be admired by their teammates, coaches, PCHS classmates, Chargers ohana, fans, and Pearl City community.

I would like to congratulate and wish Caylie and Cody all the best as he lights of Edwin Bino Neves Stadium shine upon their path and the paths of their classmates towards a bright and successful future.

“Excellence with Honor”

Go Chargers!
