Congratulations Lady Chargers Super Senior Ema Heath!

As we honor the Pearl City High School Class of 2020 by turning on the lights at Edwin Neves Stadium every Friday during the month of May at 8:20pm for 20 minutes to honor and recognize the amazing PCHS Class of 2020, I would also like to send my Aloha and gratitude to those senior student athletes who shined as Chargers under the lights on the stadium turf.

Today we honor Ema Heath who is the lone senior on the Lady Chargers 2020 Water Polo team. Ema led the Lady Chargers in scoring with 7 goals during the regular season of play that was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lady Chargers were 1-2 before the suspension.

Besides being the Lady Chargers scoring leader, Ema also led her fellow Lady Chargers teammates from goal-to-goal with her swimming skills and strength while out maneuvering opponents and assisting her teammates into scoring position and shots on goal.

Pearl City Chargers iconic swimming and girl’s water polo head coach Ken Suenaga celebrated over 50 years at Pearl City High School during the 2019-2020 school year. Senior Ema Heath, is also a shining example of the success of Coach Suenaga’s Pearl City Aquatics Swim Club that inspires the Heart and Soul and dedication for the love and success achieved in Pearl City aquatic sports.

Congratulations to Ema and Coach Suenaga!

“Excellence with Honor”

Go Chargers!
