NOTICE TO MOTORISTS
REHABILITATION OF MOANALUA ROAD PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES AT
WAIMANO HOME ROAD AND HOOLAULEA STREET
JOB NO. 06 – 18
The public is advised that construction work for the Rehabilitation of Moanalua Road Pedestrian Bridges at Waimano Home Road and Ho’olaulea Street are scheduled to begin 03/09/2020 with contract duration of 150 calendar days. This project involving the two bridges includes but are not to the following; installation of new reinforced concrete built-up sections to existing bridge columns, footings, and concrete tie beams, drill and epoxy new reinforcement, joint restrainers, spall repair, repair corroded end of handrails, paint hand rail and structure, and repair expansion joints. Work hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mon to Fri. There will be No Road Closure to be implemented, however, Traffic flow will be modified according each phase of work. Motorists are advised to follow advisory signs for lane shifting and re-routing to adjacent streets, to expect delays, and observe caution when proceeding through the project area.
