Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club volunteers beautify Kaahele Street

Oct 24, 2020 | PC Community

Thank you to the timely blessings from the Heaven’s for a break in the rain this morning so that volunteers from the Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club and their supporters could attack the overgrown landscaping under the freeway overpass on Kaahele Street in Aiea near the Dave’s Ice Cream parking lot. Volunteers cut down bushes, trimmed overgrown grass, and picked up rubbish in the area, as well as along the sidewalk.

I had a great time hanging out while serving the community with a terrific group of Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club volunteers and their very dedicated community volunteer supporters. Thank you to Lion Dexter Aoki for his leadership and dedication to beautifying communities on Oahu.

Have a wonderful weekend!
