I hope everyone is having a wonderful Halloween! I wanted to share a bunch of photos from last night's Candy Crawl Drive-Thru Halloween event held at Pearlridge Center. Over 1300 kids received Halloween treats from Pearlridge Center merchants and community groups who lined up at the beginning of the Candy Crawl fronting Macy's and ended at T.J. Maxx.
Pearl City Community Association President Kelsey Poaha and I, along with Mary Villamil, represented our PCCA community organization. We had a lot of fun hanging out with Aiea Community Association President Claire Tamamoto, Aaron Ling Johanson, and other ACA members who also sponsored a table right next to ours. They are all an amazing group of community volunteers and awesome friends and neighbors.
Maholo to Pearlridge Center Marketing Director Diana Su-Niimi and her team for inviting us to be a part of really neat Halloween themed event that was enjoyed by so many kids and their ohana, as well as all of us who volunteered to pass out Halloween treats. The kids and adults (and pets) looked great in their costumes and had a lot of fun!
Mahalo to Lei Naumu and her BLEIZEN FX Hot Rods and Classic Car crew who played a huge role in keeping everything running smoothly while providing classic Halloween sounds and characters. Everybody also got a chance to check out their amazing cars. Thank you Lei, it was great catching up with you and also sending prayers for you mom.
Mahalo to my buddy Kelsey for all the terrific photos that truly captured our time and opportunity to volunteer at the Candy Crawl.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
