The custodial staff at Palisades Elementary School led by head custodian Henry Alambatin, serves their school ohana with dedication and commitment that epitomizes the Heart and Soul in ones spirit to care for others.
They take heartfelt pride in their work and are grateful for the opportunity to play an integral role in maintaining the campus with daily tasks and responsibilities that are appreciated by students, staff, supporters, and visitors to the school.
Not only do the extremely talented custodial team successfully strive to keep the campus a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment, they also share their green thumbs that beautify and maintain the campus grounds with wonderful flowers, plants and trees that flourish under the loving care they provide.

“We maintain the campus inside and outside the buildings and all the landscaping. We a have a good crew. All my workers are very close and have worked together for over 10 years. They love their jobs. It’s nice working for Principal Tsue. He’s a good boss. I would like to thank the office staff. That’s where everything starts for me. Also, thank you to all my workers. The classroom cleaners, custodian’s, they do all the hard work.”
The common bond between the custodians is that they love their job, school, and each other, and enjoy every day working together as a part of the success of the Palisades Elementary School ohana.

Mr. Alambatin and his crew are also talented wood craftsman turning available tree trunks and branches on campus into projects that benefit the school.
