There are so many unheralded volunteer heroes in our community and communities around the world that never ask for, or receive recognition for their good deeds. They represent a compassionate dedication to serve mankind with their hearts in their hands.
As a community volunteer, I often serve the community alongside individuals who take a step back when the work is done. They always leave with a smile and will be counted on to return another day to take their place amongst fellow volunteers to help out with the next worthy project and cause.
I respect them and want to extend my appreciation for their special gifts that change lives by improving the quality of life and promise for the future.
